My creative writing professor said once that art can never be finished, only abandoned. I think I've finished this piece (update of: ineedstrongcoffee
) and the series at last, or at least, learned as much as I can from it and desperately need to try something new.

for several reasons: the pose challenged me in a lot of ways ( I always struggle with hands and hair) and forced me to brush up on proportions - I don't think the other two similar portraits I did were on target there Vanishing Point, Un

It feels very much like a self portrait, not in the sense that it is me, but that her expression - emotions are mine, I'm lost somewhere all the time
